Linda Marks, age 51, of Madison, passed away on Monday, Nov. 15, 2010, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease.
She was born on April 26, 1959, in Madison, the daughter of Charles and Cecile "Cecy" (Savoy) Marks. Linda graduated from LaFollette High School in 1977. She then attended MATC where she received an associate's degree. Linda went on to work for WPS for more than 25 years. She was a loving and valued friend of many. She enjoyed all sports, both as a participant and fan.
Linda is survived by her mother, Cecile "Cecy"; brothers, George (Lisa), Jeff (Patty) and Bill (Jule) Marks; nephew and godson, Bryan Marks; nephews, Shamus Wilson and Troy Marks; niece, Caitlin Marks; great-niece, Nadia Marks; uncle, Don (Sue) Marks; aunts, JoAnn (Lee) Moebius and Beverly Savoy; cousins and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles; and uncles, George Marks and Bob Savoy.
