About	MADISON - Carl "George" Faircloth III, age 42, of Madison, died unexpectedly on Friday, October 27, 2000, at his home. Carl was born on October 9, 1958, in Cambridge, Massachusetts, the son of George and Shirley (Smith) Faircloth II. Survivors include his three children, Angela and Bradley Spence, and Carl Ray Fairchild of Madison; two grandchildren; his mother, Shirley (David) Smith of Cottage Grove; brother, James (Jean) Faircloth of Stoughton; sister, Kimberly (Scott) Mullenberg of Oregon; two nephews, Clint Faircloth and Jake Mullenberg; a niece, Courtney Mullenberg; an aunt, Alice Conray of Massachusetts; uncle, Edward (Peggy) Carberry of Madison; a very dear and special companion, Patricia; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, George Carl Faircloth II; grandfather, George Carl Faircloth; grandfather, Edward Carberry; grandmother, Hortense Carberry; and two aunts, Agnes Currie and June Benson. Funeral services will be held at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 2418 N. Sherman Ave., Madison, on Wednesday, November 1, 2000, at 7:00 p.m. Father Kent Schmitt will officiate.
