Nick was my best friend in high school and we stayed friends until his passing. Dr. Manitzas, as many came to know him was a respected member of the medical profession. He fulfilled his dreams when he married Donna Gaston, also a graduate of SFASU. He went on to Texas Tech medical school and became as anesthesiologist working for Baylor Scott and White in Waco TX. He and Donna raised 3 wonderful children and he was very fond of his granddaughter.
