About Me	I am a 45-year-old male nurse. I currently work as a Medical Case Manager for Genex doing case management for worker’s compensation patients. I also work as an adjunct Nursing instructor for Grand Canyon University. I was teaching RN and LPN students for CCTC in Chesapeake OH, but took leave for the time being for my PhD concentration. I previously worked at a state ran acute-care psychiatric hospital for 10 years. I graduated high school in 1990 and started out my educational journey at Marshall University in their Chemical Engineering program. After three years at Marshall, I decided that this was not the career for me and that I would rather go into Nursing. I began the nursing field in 1992 as a Certified Nursing Assistant, while also working as a Phlebotomist at another hospital. I became a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in 1997 and worked as an LPN for ten years. During this time span, I attained an Associate’s degree in Electronics and Computer Technical Engineering. I later finished my Regents Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. I then decided to go back to finish my Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. I worked about seven years as an RN before starting my Master’s Degree in Nursing-Education Specialization. I have since worked as a nurse in acute, long-term, psychiatric, and critical care and case management. I have worked for a state ran acute-care psychiatric hospital for many years, as a Nursing Supervisor, Nurse Manager, Utilization Review Nurse, and Nurse Educator. I also work part-time as a Nursing Instructor at a local vocational school as a clinical instructor for their RN and LPN program.
