About Me	Never ever settle for less. There are no dress rehearsals in life, no do-overs, no make-up tests, it’s all "filmed in front of a live studio audience!" My life is to say the least very blessed !!!!I recently had a life changing expirience. Hurricane Charley. Aug 13th 2004. Our little sea side town of Punta Gorda, Fla. was almost blown off the map. But I guess that is the price you pay for paridise. I know my spelling sucks. We lost all we had worked so hard for. But we were spared our lives. You really learn to not take things for granted when this happens. I am a Animal activist and welfare person. I am very passionate about what I do. I am a member of The SIERRA CLUB, and other groups for animals and the enviorment. I now do not work in the medical field (ICU & LAB) anymore. I have dedicated my time and knowledge to wildlife rehab and rescue,Rotties & enviormental issues. My 4 greyhounds are at the Bridge!!!! I miss them everyday that goes by!!! A little bit about MY AWESOME GREYS!!! I had 4 retired rescued racing greyhounds. MaggieLynne Formerly known as JT's RoseLynne, and BobbyCorbin Formerly known as WhyTell Corbin. ans Suzie formerly known as SuzySaurus. And Mickey formerly known as Ascribe. MaggieLynne was only 3 days off the track when i brought her home . She was one of the dogs that was in the fire at the track in Bonita Springs in 2005!!! She raced into my heart on June 15th 2005. She had just turned 2 years old 10 days prior to me getting her. She is AWESOME. My male BobbyCorbin raced into my heart on October 9th 2005, he was also just 2 years old, When he came to his forever home. BobbyCorbin is the biggest lover you could ever meet!!! and he is also a special needs Grey. He has seizures and takes meds 2 times a day!!! Greyhound Adoption Kennel Suzie is a 8 year old Brood Mama, and she had a broken leg! We just brought her home October 27th 2007!!! She is so sweet and loving!! She has 6 registerd babies and 3 of them are running at Ebro. I guess her leg was broke in her last race in March 2004 and was never set properly. It does not slow her down at all. Her tail is always wagging. She was put up for adoption in Feb. 2007, and no one wanted her. I just don't understand why????? Suzie came from Elite Greyhounds in Loxahachee Florida. I just went and picked up Mickey on 3/02/08 from the Naples/Ft Myers Track. He is 6 years old!!!! He was a return. When he was returned The group was in shock as well as the vet at the condition Mickey was in. You can see all his ribs, hip bones and he has preasure sores on his butt!!!!!! He has 2 take meds 2 a day for his sores etc......... i think I have already flunked fostering 101!!!!!!!!!!! He gets along GREYT with the others. His racing name was ASCRIBE, he raced 194 races at Palm Beach & Naples/FT Myers track. RIP: MaggieLynne, SuzySaurus, and BobbyCorbin. June 2010. I miss you ever...(read more)
