About Me	Contentment isn't the fullfillment of what you want, but the realization of what you already have.... I am in a very good place in my life. I was married in 2009 to a wonderful man who is my partner in every sense of the word. He is simply amazing and keeps a smile on my face and laughter in my heart. I posted some wedding pics on my photo albums. We are now officially enjoying the baby boomer years; empty-nesters looking forward to retirement down the road. We like to travel and immerse ourselves in new places and cultures, or enjoy weekend getaways in the little red convertible. How stereotypical of a boomer...but what fun! We also love to just hang out together at home, enjoying each other's company and hanging out in the yard. And always game to take in a Beaver football game. We have 5 amazing kids between us, and 6 grandkids to keep us busy. I recently retired from Fred Meyer after 22 years following major back surgery. It was time for a positive change in my life, and I know something is waiting out there for me that is more fulfilling than making the almighty dollar for corporate America! Andy is a pharmacist for BiMart. We just bought a cozy cabin in the woods here in Sisters, Oregon; and enjoy the peace and tranquility after a long hard day of work. It realy is my sanctuary. Sisters is such a great little community. Lots of shopping, restaurants, live entertainment and too many festivals to count- all in a tiny little town. We even have a four screen movie house-and Three Creeks Brewing right next door for the best food in town. And we are only a half hour drive to Bend, if we ever need more. Yes...life is good! I think we are so content and well-suited for each other because we are both thankful for what we have, and don't worry about what we DON'T have.
