About	Laurie Landwehr passed away unexpectedly Oct. 30, 2015. She was born Dec. 13, 1945, in Kallispell, Montana, to Rosmond and Clarence Bruns. Shortly thereafter her mother moved Laurie, her brother David, and sister Christine to Klamath Falls, Oregon, living with her grandmother, Dora Goddard. In 1951, her mother married Harvey Brannan. Laurie grew up in Klamath Falls, where she graduated from Klamath Union High School in 1964. Laurie married Richard Landwehr in 1965 and started a family, having two children, Kevin and Lisa. The family moved to Milwaukie, Oregon, later moving to Astoria, Oregon, where she raised Kevin and Lisa until they graduated from high school. Laurie then relocated to Portland, following her divorce, and went to work for Northwest Natural Gas Co. She relocated again to Medford, where she worked for Avista Corporation until her retirement in 2013, after which she moved to Eugene, where she lived at the time of her death. More than anything, Laurie loved her family and friends, and we all loved her infectious laughter. With her laughter she would always light up a room, engaging everyone she came in contact with and sadly, with her passing, our rooms are a little dimmer.
