About	Tom loved being in the woods, whether he was camping, hunting, woodcutting, or just going for drives. After his retirement, he started making handcrafted pine knot walking sticks and canes, which he enjoyed giving as gifts for important occasions. He was also an animal lover and had many special pets over the years, especially Whispurr and Connor.
