About David Wayne Bartolin, age 62, of rural Waterloo, IN died on Friday, May 31, 2013 at Parkview Medical Center in Fort Wayne, IN. Mr. Bartolin was born in Kirkwood, MO on September 5, 1950 to the late George Martin Bartolin and Wanda Mae (Ragan) Bartolin. He graduated from Kirkwood High School in 1969 and attended North Texas State University for two years. David served his country in the United States Army Reserves and the Texas Army National Guard. He married Sandra Kay Landrum on August 3, 1979 in Dallas, TX. Dave was a regional sales manager and employed with L.B. Plastics of Mooresville, NC for the past 16 years. He was a very active and involved member of Zion Lutheran Church in Corunna, IN where he served as head elder, cemetery board member, trustee, stewardship board, Sunday School teacher, and member of the Joyful Noise Handbell Choir. He also was involved with shut-in visitation, working with the youth group, keeping the history of the church up to date. Dave was also the "official" outdoor barbeque grill master and cook for many church related events. He also maintained his private pilot license and loved taking on woodworking projects. He loved vacationing in Arizona, four-wheeling in the dessert and taking train trip excursions with his wife and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Bartolin, of Waterloo. Son, David Jeremy Bartolin of Angola, IN. Sister and Brother-in-law Rebecca and Russell Ray of Kirkwood, MO. Two brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Diana Bartolin of Park Hills, MO and Thomas and Theresa Bartolin of Little Rock, AR. Uncle and Aunt, Ken and Joyce Ragan of Kirkwood, MO and Aunt, Marilyn Kite of Creve Coeur, MO. Six nephews and many cousins. Two very special friends of 34 years, Clyde and Mai Ding of The Colony, Texas.

He is preceded in death by a step-son, Gregory Roach.

Funeral Services were held Saturday, June 8th, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Zion Lutheran Church. Burial was in the Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery. Rev. Al Windfield officiated the funeral service.

Memorials were to the Joyful Noise Handbell Choir.
