In a car accident with Rick Salmonson just outside of Benton City. The other driver that edged them off the road twice was Malibu Bill (Bill Hughes). Bill was not caught until 3 days later. Only did 8 months for leaving the scene of the accident. He was driving his '67 Red Camaro. It was totaled.
