Class of 1990

Greg Upchruch graduated from Kingston High School in 1990. In high school he was shy and had short hair. He was completely consumed with his music. He even drove a mini van so he could haul his drums around.

As the high school drummer, he was really good. Now, he’s an awesome drummer and known worldwide. He played with Eleven and toured with Chris Cornell. He got his big break when he became the drummer for Puddle of Mudd, which he did for a few years before he decided to join 3 Doors Down.

Among his many accomplishments, in 2001 Greg was awarded the Key to Oklahoma City for his civilian community heroic service contributions. Puddle of Mudd won several Billboard Music Awards: Rock Artist of the Year; Rock Track of the Year for "Blurry"; Modern Rock Artist of the Year; and Modern Rock Track of the Year for "Blurry" in 2002.
