| About Me | Hello Mom... its me Rob. I love you and miss you both so much.Ii remember that day in Syracuse! I love you both so much and miss you dearly. Love Always, Bobby. And dont worry ~ the Taliban can't touch me - I've got Sgt. Bovia on my shoulder! (He snuck onto my profile and wrote this, my brave and beautiful Marine!) Ask me and I'll tell you...I've been legally separated for over 4 years now...truthfully, not divorced yet simply because I can't afford an attorney. I have 4 sons, whom I love with all of my heart and soul, from 22 down to 4 ...it's just the little guy with me now.Taking care of him is a full time job...he's a brillliant, loving, mischievious, lightning-fast tyrant, and he's one of the VERY few loves of my life. My son, LCpl. Robert A. O'Connell, is a combat assault engineer in the Marine Corps, currently serving all of us in Afghanistan (I'm terrfied), and I can't express how proud I am of the man he's become, how much he worries about and takes care of Ryan and I, always watchful...he's my protector, and always has been, and is Ryan's as well. My Dad, Rob, and My "Mom" are my best friends in the world, and they are mine...we're connected on a level that can't be explained, and I love them soooo much! I can't imagine my life without any of them...nor my lifelong girl friends...you know who you are, ladies :o)~ As for me right now, I'm just trying to figure out who the hell I am after dedicating the 20 most important years of my life to the LAST people I should have EVER trusted...it changes you completely to give and give and give, get nothing in return but a knife in the back. But I'll be fine...after I finally get up the courage to let myself start meeting people, getting back out there into the world again, and only giving the best of myself to those WHO TRULY DESERVE ME! I may need some help getting back in the saddle....but I damned sure can still get in it and move forward!
