About	I was saddened to hear that Mr Duff passed away last month. He was my Economics teacher and the only teacher who attended one of our reunion ceremonies. The one thing that Mr Duff taught and was absorbed was the fact that there is allot of deception out there in advertising business. Rest in Peace Mr Duff and Thank You for your dedication.

A big, warm-hearted man, filling our classtime with WWII stories (despite the class's curriculum!) and generally good tales from life that, looking back today, were rich in common sense and common decency. The fact that he was also an encyclopedia salesman only adds poignancy to the role teachers had and continue to have in our society-- great, underpaid "influencers" who shape our sense of the world in subtle ways- in addition to the subject matter assigned. He seemed to care.... something not necessarily in the job description. Our memoreis are his legacy.
