About Me	Personal: I married Ron Brown of in 1966, and we will celebrate our 42nd wedding anniversary in Auguist. Ron is a senior sales associate for a promotional adverstising company. We have two children--Kevin, 35, and Karen, 32. Kevin is a district account manager in the marine industry, and Karen is a teacher. She is the mother of our precious granddaughter, Hannah. Our son-in-law is a mechancal engineer. Prior to beginning my teaching career at KC in 1969, I taught 5 years in public school. I have just completed my 39th year of teaching at Kilgore College. For 9 of those years, I served as department chair. I also teach English online for the University of Phoenix.
