I was friends with Leslie since our high school days. When she lived in Jacksonville, FL and we (then-boyfriend-now-husband) lived in St Marys, GA, we would drive to Jacksonville and visit her......or meet her at Sam's Club and shop / hang out together. In high school, I liked eating Life Savers candy, so Leslie came up with the nickname of "Crunch-Crunch" for me--because I was always crunching on that candy. After my SO and I moved to WV, I kept in touch with Leslie by phone and Facebook. I just wish I could've kept up with her more often. Leslie was kind of a girlie-girl, and always had a young-sounding voice, even into her 50's. We had several things in common, including a love for cats. Leslie was always a cute, sweet and funny girl, fun to hang with in person, and she talked highly of her family. :-D
