About	Mark grew up in Hunt, NY and attended Keshequa High School. After graduating, Mark joined the US Navy from 1972-1980. He proudly served on both the USS George C. Marshall and USS Nautilus submarines as a cook. He later pursued a nursing degree, working as a Registered Nurse with Backus Hospital, VNASC, and NEPS. Mark ran his own construction business for 15 years remodeling and building homes. Outside of work, Mark enjoyed hunting, fishing and cooking. His handiness often found him helping friends with construction or mechanical projects. He was a member of the Sprague Rod & Gun club, American Legion, and VFW. Mark married the love of his life, Gail Jacobsen on July 30, 1977, and together they built a life in CT. He is survived by his wife Gail, brother Wayne, sisters Denise and Debra, son Jason, daughter-in-law Nicole, daughter Jamilee, son-in-law Aaron, grandsons Cameron and Ellis, granddaughter Shirleyanne, and great granddaughters Annalise and Briella. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, and brothers- Steve and David. Family and friends will remember Mark for his loud and boisterous humor, strong opinions, delicious cooking, and his hair. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
