Joined the Army in January 1977. After Basic Training at Ft. McCLellan, went to AIT (Advanced Individual Training) at Fort Benjamin Harrison in Indianapolis. After graduating as a Broadcast Specialist, went to Stuttgart Germany for 1 year as an afternoon DJ...then went to Frankfurt Germany HQ American Forces Network Europe, for 2 years as a Network Radio News Anchor and some TV.. Got out of the army after my enlistment was over and stayed in Europe for another year. Went back to the states and worked at several Radio Stations as a news anchor. Got married, and went back to Germany for another 6 or 7 years. Got remarried and went back to the states again....now we live in Florida. Although I would love to live in Germany again for awhile, at this point I think we will stay put for the time being.
