After graduation, Mike received a BA and MBA in Business Admin from the U of Washington where he met his wife. They had been married for 49 years and had no children. His long and successful career in business included management positions at Tektronix, and President and CEO of a company he started that he later sold to Google where his company became Google’s Portland Office.
Mike’s varied interests included raising and showing Doberman Pinchers, most became American and Canadian Champions and serving as the founding member and first president of the Mt. Hood Doberman Pinscher Club in Oregon. His passion for Archaeology and rock art led to work on projects in several western states and tours of famous caves in France. He was an author on this subject and was president of the Oregon Archaeological Society for two terms. Mike was an avid fly fisherman taking him all over the country. Mike died suddenly from surgical complications in Seattle on February 17, 2022.
