Carla moved to the Seattle area sometime after graduation where she married, and they had twin boys. Her husband died shortly after (traffic related death) and she became a single mom, raising both sons. She worked as an accountant for Merrill Lynch. In 2020, reportedly suffered a stroke and died of complications in 2021. Exact date unknown. At the time of her death was living in Auburn, WA. There was no obituary.
