Following graduation, Shari married and worked as a dental assistant for 40 years. She and her second husband of 20 years had 5 children between the two of them, 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Her husband described her as a “phenomenal woman” who loved life and family. Her love of crochet and knitting led her to work with a group called “Threads of Love” in Spokane who made baby clothing for premature babies. Shari passed away in Spokane after a 7-year battle with cancer on July 27, 2022.
