| About | After graduation, Dale married classmate Nancy Morlan in 1972. They divorced and he remarried and had two daughters. He later divorced again. He worked with various companies doing construction and other various jobs. He died in Richland, WA on September 8, 2017, after an extended illness. |

I hope this wasn't the obituary that was written to honor my uncle Dale! My uncle Dale was so much more than his disease and extended illness! Before his addiction became all consuming, my uncle Dale was funny, charismatic, loving, kind, and my favorite uncle. My uncle suffered a near fatal brain injury that he never quite recovered from! Dale was a son, a brother, and an uncle who was loved regardless of his circumstances late in his life! The fight is over! The peace he sought has come to fruition and for all eternity! You are missed, and you are loved without conditions!
