This is a *FREE event. Why is this held at a church? The largest cost to put on an event is the venue….in this case Pastor Mark Ellingson gets it for free.
Bring your classic 1970’s cars (or older) as we enjoy them outside (along with volleyball, corn hole, etc). Or step inside as we enjoy free snacks, large crowd games (Name That Tune, the Dating Game, and Win, Lose, or Draw), music videos, and 70’s artifacts that you bring to share for your classmate’s amazement!
This portion of the night (from 6:00 to 9:00 pm) is held at the church. The next phase is held down the street at Route 47 Pub and Grub (where your alcohol needs can be met!). *5.00 cover charge for bar
Route 47 always has the best 80’s cover bands. We have a whole back area reserved for us. More surprises to be revealed later. BE SURE TO LIKE AND SHARE THIS. IF YOU DO ANY OTHER SOCIAL MEDIA, GET THE WORD OUT ALSO.....I barely know how to do FB!

This is especially difficult to write and the Reunion Committee hopes that you will understand.
It has become apparent that it will be necessary to postpone our 50th Class Reunion currently scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 10, 2020. After evaluating the health concerns being experienced across the country, we determined it would not be safe for us to get together at this time.
The Committee has worked very hard to plan an amazing event and we will look forward to seeing you next summer on Saturday, Aug. 21, 2021. Please mark your calendars and plan on attending!
Because of recent health and public safety events we anticipate the hospitality industry will increase 2021 prices due to the financial losses many have incurred this year. Please be prepared for possible increases in reunion costs, and be assured we will do all we can to minimize expenses wherever possible.
We look forward to seeing you next summer! In the meantime, stay safe and healthy, and spread the word!

Date: Saturday, August 15
Time: Starting at 6:00 pm we will have a table to check in. Arrive anytime you like.
Cost: Only $20 bucks will cover the appetizers and keg!
Entertainment: At 10 pm Danny boy will start his awesome DJing with your favorite 80's music!
We will need an approx head count so the Valley Tap House can staff accordingly.

**Also I'm looking in to reserving a block of rooms at the GrandStay Hotel which is a few blocks from the Valley Tap House** I'll get more details of that and keep you posted**
Attire: Wear whatever you like! (just no birthday suits) If you want to dress in 80's style - go for it! I believe the staff will be dressed in 80's, however it is not mandatory at all!
Food / Drinks:
* The back room is reserved for our class.
* Appetizers will be served at a cost of $10.00 per person.
* I believe we will do a hand stamp indicating that you paid.
* I don't know yet what the appetizers will be.
* I'm not sure if the $10.00 includes the servers tip, however I'm guessing it does.
* Keg will be out on the back deck. We decided on a cost of $5.00 per person with a wrist band indicating that.
** If you want to come but will not be having the appetizers or don't want keg beer; you are on your own to order from their menu, plus they have a full bar to order drinks at your own cost.

* If you would need lodging, it looks like there are two hotels very close to The Valley Tap House.

It is the old Major's on 84th & Normandale Blvd. We will be meeting at 7 pm on August 6th. They will give us wristbands that will entitle our group to $3.50 pints of domestic beer, rail cocktails and $4 house wines. We will have an area set up to check in for you to get your wristband.
