June was married to Al Martel and they lived in Saco, Maine. She had two sons, Edmond N. Martel and Thomas M. Martel, and one daughter, Barbara G. Adams. She also had six grandchildren. In high school, June participated in the Future Homemakers of America Club and had a bubbly personality. June was a homemaker and lovingly raised her family. She enjoyed camping and hand feeding the squirrels. Her hobbies included going to yard sales and watching NASCAR. She also liked making puzzles, playing cards and board games and spending time with her family. She also volunteered at the Saco Food Pantry, helping to distribute food.
