Born Jul 02, 1943, Georgia Garnett Macdonald attended Kennebunk High School in Kennebunk, ME.

M. Georgia Garnett MacDonald was welcomed by a symphony of angels on December 11th after a short illness. She is survived by her husband, John, of over 58 years and their two daughters Jannie Pratt, her husband Paul, Jennifer Wolf, grandchildren Benjamin, Matthew, Samantha and great grand daughter Andromeda Lynn.
A 1962 graduate of Kennebunk High School and a 1967 graduate of North Shore Babies and Children’s Hospital. She worked as a nurse for four years before returning to Maine to marry her high school sweetheart. They moved to Dover buying their first home and started their family. Before retiring she worked as a Phlebotomist at Seacoast Diabetes and Frisbee Hospital.
She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren until they outgrew her.
She was very artistic and enjoyed painting, sewing and knitting. One of her greatest joys was spending time at their camp on Ossipee Lake. She was the Queen of her Red Hats group for over ten years.
She is also survived by a special Aunt, Betty McCardle of Louisiana who was born just a year after her. Two sisters Candace and Russell Welch of Arundel, Maine and Merryan and Mark Rutherford of Kennebunk Port.
She was predeceased by her mother, Myrtle Cousens; her father George Garnett; and her maternal grandmother Gertrude Steven’s.
A celebration of life will be held in late June.

Great time had by all.
I didn’t take and photos of the summer Bbq in July.
Dinner Party at the Pierce’s in Oct..25 , I was to”so busy talking to Georgia I didn’t get any photos ,,.many memories . We will miss Georgia.
