About Event

55th Reunion Details!!
55 years! We are not that old!
Based on the feedback from your responses last year, the committee made the decision to keep this reunion casual and reasonably priced. There will be no agenda, or prepared speeches. No fancy stuff. The point is to just reminisce and catch up with old friends, and perhaps meet some new ones! Since our 50th reunion, we have lost 41 classmates that we know of!
Thursday, August 15th
Meet and Greet at
The Shores Waterfront
2 Detroit St.
North Tonawanda, NY 14120
This is a restaurant / bar on the Niagara River. We started our 50th reunion at this same establishment. There are indoor and outdoor areas to congregate! Any food or drinks are on your dime. We will start arriving at 5 PM.
Friday, August 16th
NOCO Pavilion 3:30 PM till ?
450 Ensminger Rd, Tonawanda, an indoor/outdoor venue, overlooking the Sheridan golf course.
This will be where we all hang out! We encourage everyone to bring photos, yearbooks, memorabilia, whatever will spark stories to be told. We encourage anyone with cornhole, bocce, etc. games, to bring them! We plan on having a playlist of music we all love. There will be areas inside and out for mingling.
This will be a catered buffet that will include beef on weck/roll. We are targeting dinner at 5:30 PM.
The committee made the decision to have everyone provide their own beverages of choice. At the 50th, many of us did not come close to needing an open bar! This way you can have your favorite bourbon or summer shandy, perhaps, or ginger ale or iced tea, whatever you bring!
The charge will be $35, which includes food and facility rental. Payment can be made to:
Venmo -- 3173791987, or
personal checks made out to Kathleen Ticco (put Class of 69 reunion and who is attending in the check memo area) and mailed to:
Kathy Weeks Ticco
47 Westwind Lane
Buffalo, NY 14228
Please let Kathy (kwt1015@aol.com) know that you have sent a check, so she can ‘watch the mailbox’!
PLEASE REMIT PAYMENT BY July 15th 2024
Please include names of those attending with your payment.
SATURDAY, August 17th Buffalo Harbor Cruise
The committee originally hoped to have one boat for just our crowd, however due to lack of interest, we will be sharing with the public. Everyone is responsible for their own tickets.
If you have never done this, it is memorable. You learn about the Erie Canal and the history of Buffalo wealth, created by the harbor, as you wind through the maze of the river. You pass close to Riverworks, and the grain silos that have been painted to look like a six pack of Labatts. Remember the Crystal Beach Boat and how big it seemed? Its sister ship, the Columbia, is parked along the way, waiting for restoration. If we are really, really lucky, we may see a freighter unloading some grain to be made into cereal. There are pictures on the website.

Invited Classmates

Reunion Apparel

The class of 1969 experienced history on a regular basis: The Summer of Love, the Tet Offensive, Nixon's rise to power, The Beatles' creative peak... very few spans of time can claim to have shaped American culture as much as the late 60's, and you & your Kenmore West High School classmates experienced it together.

Now as you and your fellow Blue Devils prepare to enjoy retirement it's the perfect time to reunite and share where life has brought you in the last five decades. Your reunion is scheduled and AlumniClass is your spot for arranging travel plans, ordering custom Blue Devils merchandise to show off your school spirit, and connect with classmates ahead of time.
