| About Me | After B&S,worked for Sylvania,got married, had 3 sons in 4 years,was widowed,had a broken ankle, after healing,went to work at Sylvania for 6 yrs., that's when ankle happened and my husband's death. After the healing process, went to work at Sierra Research Corp. was there 15 years. Remarried after being alone for 8 years. Bought home back in Kenmore from S.Buffalo. That was 30 some yrs ago. Was layed off in '91 and then on dissability w/arthritis - bad!All 3 of my sons graduated from KWSHS. That me so proud. As the years passed by, arthritis progressively got worse. Twoo of my sons are now married. One in Clarkville, TN. Lovely Kenmore girl who went to LasVegas to meet my son. Only know of him vaguely. They married and have two of the most darling little daughters. My other son who married, lives in Titusville, FL and is the driver for the that vehicle that takes the shuttle out to the launch pad. That's my baby. He and his wife (a true Miami-ian) have one son. My husband, Jim is still working (he is nine years younger than I). He's in heating and cooling. When I was working, I was an Electronic Selectronic Compositer Typesetter. I was on the beginning level when computers came into the Technical Publications department. I worked my way up to supervisor of the Word Processing Dept. Then after five or so years went back to publications work on the Mac. Absolutely loved it. Did simple artwork, inputted the monthly company paper, brochures, biographical composites, and government handbooks for the Air Force at that time. Very interesting stuff. Too bad I have a very very short memory. I loved working. I loved being a mom. a wife, and everythingelse that went along with being a wife and mom of teenage boys! We were a very blessed family.
