| About Me | I was an individual and family therapist for 16 years, working on the streets, in homes, in shelters, and in private practice. I shifted into training therapists and became a Director of Training for a large psychiatric hospital and then for a national foundation working with homeless families. I left mental health work in 1995 to join with my present firm, where we help people who are enemies on divisive social issues to move to deeper levels of understanding and communication while remaining strong in their perspectives.
