Judy Newman '59 said:
"Ruthie" and I lived across the street from each other growing up on Harrison Ave.. When it was time to get together I just walked across the street and called, "Oh Ruthie-e-e!" at her door. She was my first and long time best friend. We could climb over her back fence and have a wild field with flowers and pheasants and wild strawberries to pick that went all the way over to Sheridan Drive.
