About	Peter "Pete" Varga, beloved husband, father, papa and friend, passed away on March 11, 2024. Born in Buffalo, New York on April 7, 1944 Pete lived a life full of laughter, love, and adventure. Pete's journey began in Buffalo, where he was born to Peter John and Frances Kelly Varga. He graduated from Kenmore West High School and continued his education at Hobart College, where he was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. He served in the Army reserves and was discharged in 1973. Pete enjoyed a successful career in medical sales with Hill-Rom and Stryker Medical before retiring in 2008. His greatest joy was his family. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carol-Lynn, their children Jill(Tom), Tracy(Dan), and Jeff(Lee), and his adored grandchildren Nora, Jack, Lillian, Ronan, Rex, and Emma. He also leaves behind his brother, Paul, sister-in-law, Carol Varga and brother-in-law, Robert Kissman. In remembering Pete, it becomes evident his life was filled with passions. He loved cars and boats, serving as the president of his local car club. When he wasn't tinkering with engines, he could be found at his Colorado mountain house, enjoying the outdoors with his family. Pete was known for his quick wit, his infectious laughter, and his ability to turn any situation into a humorous story. He was a trusted source of advice, a loyal friend, and the life of any gathering. Pete and Carol-Lynn shared a love of travel, exploring the world together and with friends. They spent 15 winters in Daytona Beach, Florida, enjoying Pete's love of the ocean. In his later years, Pete discovered a passion for pickleball, where he continued to display his competitive spirit. Pete's passing leaves a void in the lives of all who knew him. He was truly a unique and inspiring person, whose impact will be forever felt. Pete will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.
