About | JOHN F. OLDFIELD, HEADED PLUMBING FIRM John F. Oldfield, president of Mutual Plumbing & Heating Inc., died Thursday October 31, 1991 in Kenmore Mercy Hospital after a heart attack. He was 46. Survivors include his wife, the former Antoinette Rego; two sons, Jason of the Town of Tonawanda and Randy Carney of Buffalo; two daughters, Jayme of the Town of Tonawanda and Lynn Griffin of Philadelphia; his mother, Catherine Medrogovich of the Town of Tonawanda; a brother, Richard of Leonard, Mich., and three grandchildren. Mr. Oldfield headed the family owned business at 1237 Niagara St. since 1972. He lived in the Town of Tonawanda all his life and was a graduate of St. John the Baptist Catholic School and Kenmore West High School. He was a past president of the Plumbing and Heating Contractors Association and member of the Buffalo Launch Club. He also raced his 1963 Supergas Corvette at Lancaster Speedway and was a member of the National Hod Rod Association and International Hot Rod Association. |
