I knew Cindy when we were just kids. I actually met her husband in Summer School one year and he talked about his girlfriend(s). He never mentioned names but one Sunday at church a few years later he was with Cindy and then I knew at least one of them! She was quite pregnant and I was so surprised to see them together. She was a lovely girl. I had many fun times with her. We went skating in Riverside Park during the winter, that I remember. She traveled to New York City with her family one time and brought me back three small giraffes made out of china???. I still have two of the three of them. She was always smiling and was lovely to be around. She was my friend.
