| About | BANKS - Stephen A. died peacefully at his home on February 3, 2023. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Carol: son Kenneth and his wife Jessica, daughter Erin and her husband Adam Moore; son Christopher and his wife Tanya; daughter Shannon and her husband Adam Sapp; grandchildren: Ava, Ethan, Hudson, Lily, Caroline, Laura. | Events | Upon retirement from the Judge Advocate General's Corps (US NAVY) in 1988, he received it's MERITORIOUS SERVICE MEDAL for his outstanding work. At his "final" retirement from the Office of the General Counsel of the Navy in 2006, as Assistant Director (Environmental Litigation), he was recognized for SUPERIOR CIVILIAN SERVICE. Environmental Law was always his deep interest. |
