Randy was a lifelong friend; he was a gifted writer and adjunct professor at Niagara Community College who also loved theater and dance and worked to create both. He was to have been my best man at my wedding but sadly had to be hospitalized shortly before the big day, for the illness that ultimately claimed him. He is much missed by his friends and chosen family.

Randall and I were classmates at Kenmore Jr. HS back in the 60's. We were both in a extracurriclar "Ballroom" dance class together. I was not there by choice so I skipped it most times but I had to show my mother something when I got home so I would meet up with Randall after the class and he would show me what they taught that day. How silly it must have looked to see two teenage boys dancing on a street corner. It would have been less silly to just go to the class. It never bothered Randall though and I am pretty good at dancing thanks to him. It is something that always stayed with me through the years and I relayed that memory to my wife a couple of times. Unfortunately we lost touch thrrough HS mainly because he was more studious than I was. But he and that memory crossed my mind on more than a few occassions. It is sad to hear of his passing. RIP dance partner :D
