He was born Feb. 23, 1956, in Akron. He served in the U.S. Navy, and worked as a machine operator for Duer Construction.
Frank was preceded in death by his father, Edward Welch. He is survived by his wife of six years, Tressa; sons, Frank Welch and Larry Smith; mother, Helen Welch; brother, Jerry (Christine) Welch; sisters, Cheryl (Bob) Sonnenberg and Linda (Mike) Trivison; several nieces and nephews.
Private graveside services will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
