In the first 12 years of his career, he held accounting management positions rising from Internal Auditor to Chief Financial Officer and worked in many Fortune 500 companies such as Dunlop Tire & Rubber, Textron, Bell Aerospace and Marine Midland Banks. Russ entered into public accounting and through that business venue entered into new technology applications and software system implementations for clients. In 1982, Russ founded International Software Distributors, Inc. and developed one of the largest software sales companies in the U.S. specializing in manufacturing control systems and MRP applications. Over the last 20 years, Russ has focused on providing professional technology consulting, C.I.O. advisory services and a broad spectrum of ERP systems, accounting applications and process manufacturing implementation projects which have generated many high profile customers. Some of the clients are VF Corporation, Sara Lee, Fruit of the Loom, Johnson & Johnson, Merck & Co., Phizer, Calvin Klein, Jockey International, Computer Generated Solutions, Hanes Brands, Oxford Industries, Centennial International, Delta Apparel, Russell Apparel, G & K Services, Anvil Knitwear, GCS Software, Tarrant Apparel Group, Warnaco, Authentic Fitness, Donnkenny Apparel, Rocket Dog Brands.
