About	REMEMBERING RON PIERCE. Private Ronald S. Pierce was killed-in-action in Quang Tin Province, Republic of Vietnam, on 7 May 1969. It was his 12th day in-country. Death was immediate, caused by multiple fragmentation wounds. Had he remained a student at Kenmore East Senior High School, he would have graduated just 46 days later, on 22 June.
