About	Funeral services for Trudy Marlene Larsen, 46, of Gillette will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. Scott Firminhac officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church. She has been cremated. Mrs. Larsen died Friday, Jan. 20, 2006, at her home in Gillette of cancer. She was born in Kimball, Neb., on Aug. 31, 1959, to Edward and Norma Riepe. She was raised and educated in Casper and graduated from Kelly Walsh High School in 1977. On Aug. 7, 1982, she married Gale Larsen in Casper. They had two sons, Joshua and Joel, and made their home in Wyoming. In 1989, the family moved to Elko, Nev. Mrs. Larsen devoted her time to her children by staying home with them. As they got older, she worked as a crossing guard and with her boys, had several newspaper routes. She enjoyed spending all the time she could with them. In 2002, the family returned to Gillette. She worked as an aide on the school bus. She loved to help the kids and always had a huge heart for those who needed help in life, whether it was physically or emotionally. She was always willing to serve. Her dogs, who she affectionately called her "girls,” had a special place in her heart. Mrs. Larsen was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church. She is survived by her husband and two sons, Joshua and Joel, all of Gillette; and one sister, Nanita Moore, of Carson City, Nev. She was preceded in death by her father.
