About	Rod was born in Los Angeles and came to San Diego in 1947. He leaves 2 sons, Mark and Matthew both of the San Diego area and a step-daughter, Lilliana also of San Diego and his wife, Elia. Rod was in the Marine Corps Reserves and worked for the County of San Diego in the Probation Dept in El Cajon. He has a surviving sister, Shirley in Encinitas and brother, Fleet of Vancouver, WA.
