Favorite School Memory	I had an opportunity to intervene in a crisis involving a student who had been duped in writing a letter to the editor of the high school newspaper. He wrote a joke letter advocating smoking in class, getting high, etc. He did not not realize that his letter would actually be printed. I happened upon the meeting in the v principle's office where the editors were telling the poor kid and the vp that it was too late to NOT have the story printed. I did some impromptu testimony since I was on the news staff as well and knew it was not too late to remove the letter, and saved the kid some embarrassment, or worse. I think that kid's father was running for the school board or something and it would not have looked good. He was just goofing around when he wrote he letter, and never anticipated the fall out.
