1961-1981. Went to missile electronics school at Chanute AFB. First 11 years were in missile guidance systems; stationed twice in Florida, in California and on Cape Cod; the last 9 years in computer programming, stationed at Omaha and southern California. Retired in California.

Enlisted in 1966 and spent the first 6.5 years as enlisted Radio Operator (Including a tour in Viet Nam 1968-1969). Graduated from Officer Candidate School in January of 1972 and spent the remaining years as an officer at 18 different duty stations including 6.5 years of sea duty. Operations specialist in Law Enforcement, Navigation, Ship Handling, Communications and Anti-Submarine Warfare
