What is Tim Ward (2003) known for?

Timothy Christopher Ward, an American musician hailing from Mukilteo, Washington, built his reputation as the bass guitarist and co-lead vocalist for the progressive rock band, The Fall of Troy. His passion for music was ignited at Kamiak High School, from which he graduated in 2003. Here, he connected with Andrew Forsman and Thomas Erak to form The 30 Years War, which later transformed into The Fall of Troy.

Upon graduating from high school, Tim and his bandmates dove headfirst into their musical journey by recording The Fall of Troy's first full-length album. Their music spanned various genres including progressive rock, post-hardcore, electronic, psychedelic, and drone. Tim, however, bid farewell to the band in 2007, only to return in 2013, marking an important milestone in the band's history.

During his hiatus, Tim relocated to Riggins, Idaho, and embarked on several musical ventures. He churned out new demos under the alias Stranger Danger on his MySpace page and also created music under the monikers "Cool Timmy" and "Messedupcoyote". Furthermore, he joined the band Trash Kids and played a significant role as the lyric writer, lead vocalist, and instrumentalist.

Tim's music career is also marked by his adept use of a variety of equipment during tours. Some of his key instruments included a Fender Geddy Lee Jazz Bass, Fender American Jazz Bass, Gibson Grabber bass, and an Ampeg SVT Classic head. He also used a number of effects pedals to enrich his sound, such as the BOSS TU-2 Tuner, BOSS SYB-5 Bass synthesizer pedal, and BOSS ODB-3 Overdrive.
