About Me	Moved to Kaua'i right after HS; married a sailor in 1981; started college at the age of 30 and made up for my horrible grades in high school; became a social worker specializing in intimate partner and sexual violence for ten years; worked at a battered women's shelter for 13 years; became Assistant to the Dean at the UH School of Social Work for ten years; now serve as Assistant to the Vice Chancellor for Students, UH Manoa.
