About Event
The 1974 graduating class of Junction City High School will hold its 40-year reunion on October 10th and 11th. Events kick off at 5 p.m. on Friday with a tailgate party. Meet at the far west end of the high school’s extended parking lot. At 6 p.m. we’ll proceed to the football stadium to cheer on the Blue Jays in their match-up with the Manhattan Indians. After the game, friends and former teachers are invited to meet up with the group at Coach’s Neighborhood Grill and Bar.
Saturday at 9 a.m. the C.L. Opera house will be open for those wanting to view this beautiful building. At 10 a.m. the group will meet to tour the Freshman Success Academy, 9th and Adams, and then proceed to the high school for a tour of that facility.
At 1 p.m. former classmates will congregate at Ike’s Place Bar & Grill. At 6:30 p.m. meet at Bella’s Italian Restaurant for a group photo. Sit down to dinner beginning at 7 p.m. The evening will end with music and dancing at the Devil’s Tail where the Band Locker #15 will perform.
