About Me	I got into medicine during my USAF years, working in Flight Medicine. After getting out of the Air Force, I was accepted into the second PA class at Emory University. During my 35 years as a PA I have worked in Emergency Medicine, rural family practice, 3 years in the Federal Prison system (as an employee, not a resident), 8 years with the University of Florida Organ Donor Program, and the last 15 years in a walk in urgent care center. I retired in January 2009, but still work 8-10 days a month in the Emerald Coast Urgent Care with clinics in Destin & Panama City Beach. Retired completely from clinical medicine in October 2013. While no longer involved in clinical medicine, I am working on a healthcare blog, as well as healthcare articles and booklets. I met Angie in San Antonio and we were married in February 1969. Angie retired from at the end of April after 35 years of federal service, the last 23 years at Tyndall AFB. We have two sons, Kevin and Brent. Kevin lives in Austin, TX and is the band director at Hopewell Middle School in Round Rock. Brent lives in Panama City Beach.
