Obituary:
Ken Franklin passed away November 17, 2004 at the age of 56. He was born April 29, 1948 in
Oklahoma City Oklahoma to William and Jesse Franklin. Ken was employed as a letter carrier for
the U. S. Postal Service. He loved Jesus and his family with all of his heart. Ken attended
Northwest Baptist Church where he was a member of the choir. He loved singing and fishing.
Ken was a gentle man and a servant who always saw the best in people. We will always
remember his smile and kind words, his laughter filled our lives. He was a loving husband,
father, brother and friend who will be greatly missed. He leaves memories with his wife, Lou;
sons, Matthew and Andrew; daughter, Allison Willis and husband Matt; brother, Richard; sister
Velva Griffin; and father and mother in law, Harry and Virginia Musser. A memorial service to
celebrate his life will be held at 3:00 PM today at Draper Park Christian Church.

Additional Information
Ken grew up in Jones Oklahoma. He attended school in Jones and graduated in 1966. He was
active in a variety of school activities including music and sports. He attended the First Christian
Church in Jones.

After high school, Ken went to college at Oklahoma City University. After college, he served in
the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam.
