About Me	I'm just a Chick-With-A-Pick trying to do the best I can with the cards I have been dealt. My philosophy, of sorts: I believe that kindness and caring are important values that are sadly being ignored by many of the generation of children who grew up with every possible electronic stimuli possible, yet have limited social skills and attention spans. It scares me that these children, having been conditioned to having constant instant gratification, are so easily "bored" by the beauty of nature or the comfort of a good friendship. My wish is that children will learn to look for cool things to do, in real life, with other people instead of relying on the electronic mind-control that is so prevalent on television and in the the video games and movies targeted at them. Additionally, I truly believe in the power of Karma, and have seen it at work many times. It helps me to accept when there is unfairness and injustice that is not immediately rectified.
