She married my father, Gordon David Beckhorn in 1962 and had me, her only child, Gretchen Beckhorn in March of 1964 in Buffalo NY….she received a Masters of Forensic Psychology from John Jay College in New York City and worked for the state of New York and the State of Virginia in the management of public health facilities and in the juvenile justice system.
