About Me	After the military service, I was transferred to St. Paul by 3M, where I worked for 29 years. The company spun off a number of Divisions into a new company called Imation. Our Medical Imaging business was purchased by Kodak. A number of years later I took an "early out" package from Kodak, and did some consulting (Reliability and Quality) for a couple of years before finally leaving the corporate world. When my bride retired in 2013 (after 40 years with 3M), we moved up to our lake home outside of Hayward, WI. I became a Firefighter in retirement, in addition to becoming an EMT for Sawyer county. I thoroughly enjoyed the work and helping people. In 2020 Mary Lou and I made the decision to head for warmer weather and leave the -25 degree Winters behind. We bought a home in Apache Junction, AZ, right at the foothills of the Usery Mountains, and about 3 miles from the base of the Superstition Mountains.
