Barbara McReynolds Atkinson

National Guard, 20+ Years
Entire career (4/1986 - 1/2013) was spent as clarinetist in the 145th Army Band, serving as principal clarinetist 1990-retirement. Retired as First Sergeant; was first female 1SG in history of OKARNG. Was two-time State NCO of the Year (1997, 2003) and NCOIC of The Governor's Honor Guard for 11 years. Decorations included Army Meritorious Service, Army Commendation (2OLC), Army Achievement (2OLC), Oklahoma Distinguished Service, Oklahoma Meritorious Service, and Oklahoma Commendation (1OLC). .
