JIL CLASS OF 1989 - 30 YEAR REUNION ANNOUNCEMENT!!!
Please join your fellow JIL Class of 1989 alumni for a night of music, food and fun! We'll reflect on old times, get caught up and celebrate just how far we've all come over the past 30 years.
Our event will be held on Saturday, July 27th at Voltaire, 526 Clematis Street, West Palm Beach. The vibe is dressy casual. Voltaire is a stylish, relaxed, intimate and eclectic place to enjoy music, drinks and food.
Named after and inspired by the 18th century satirical writer, historian, and philosopher whom advocated freedom of speech above all things, Voltaire will be a haunt for patrons of the arts, those that want to celebrate freedom of expression.
Our reunion will be from 6:30-9:30 PM, but you can hang out as late as you'd like! We will have a taco bar, chips and salsa and an open call liquor bar from 6:30-8:00 PM. After 8:00 PM it will be cash bar only, but don't let that stop you from having a great time!
Ticket prices are per person. One guest per person, please. Price includes the taco bar, the open call liquor bar from 6:30-8:00 PM and a DJ taking us back to 1989! Purchase your tickets here:

****IMPORTANT UPDATE******
Chauncey and Lori called: The Hilton is under new management, and told Chauncey we can't use the bar.. They offered the choice of us renting a space there for $500.00. ARE THEY FOR REAL??? They basically don't want a big group there, even though we spend tons of money at that hotel for our reunions! According to management, they show only 1 person from John I Leonard being booked, which we all know is not true. Chauncey told me one of our friends owns a sports bar about a mile from Leonard. He is willing to let us have our reunion there, and we are in the process of trying to find hotels in the vicinity. I just spoke to my sister Kelly who has concerns about Johnny's place.. She told me it is pretty small... So, I'm going to call the Hilton first to try again to work it out.. If they are not going to back down on us using the space, and if they push for us to pay 500.00 for a space Kelly said she'd go take a look at it.. At the moment everything is really up in the air.. I will share the page of the sports bar here on this page. Who ever booked a room at the Hilton, PLEASE POST HERE SO THAT WE HAVE A COUNT. Stay tuned kids, this really sucks.

In case you are not aware, there will be a '68 - '72 reunion on Apr 24th. Details are under the reunion tab on classmates.com. Please rsvp asap. Lots of folks have said they are coming, but only 70+ have rsvp'd to date. Even if you can't send in your check yet, email her and let her know that you are coming and if you are bringing a guest. Checks must be received by Apr 10th Price is $20pp and will include ribs, chicken, potato salad, baked beans, slaw, and rolls. There will also be something cooked for us vegetarians!
